Description:
Actor, producer and comedian Gerald "Slink" Johnson exploded onto the scene as the title character in Adult Swim's live-action comedy "Black Jesus". His easy-going demeanor, quick wit, sharp humor and willingness to really "go" there have helped to make the firebrand show a cult hit. He's worked with hit-makers Jody Hill, Danny McBride and John and Dave Chernin and also lent his husky voice to animated comedies "Chozen", "The Boondocks" and even the record-breaking gaming series "Grand Theft Auto". Now, Johnson presses pause on his TV gigs and grabs a mic for a live set at Punchline Comedy Lounge near Detroit.
